very complex. We strive to keep up with all the changes that affect
your exporting.

Remember to include a note telling
us which testing you require!
For an AWBC Continuing Approval Number,
2 bottles of finished wine must be sent to the AWBC.
You can send these direct
to the AWBC, or send them to us with your testing sample and we will
onforward them to the AWBC at no charge to you.
Upgrades
If you have previously had
your wine tested by Vintessential, and require another Certificate,
we may be able to organise an upgrade from the original Certificate.
Combinations
of Certificates
If you intend to export your wine to more than one country we
can arrange to test your wine for
more than one Certificate
at a time. This is a very cost effective way of getting the necessary
Certificates. The Certificates are listed below in combinations of one,
two or three at a time.

CERTIFICATES
OF ANALYSIS
Most Export Certificates
of Analysis need to be provided by a NATA accredited laboratory.
The Certificate/s required
depend upon the country of destination. The most common Certificates
requested are:
AWBC Continuing Approval Application (CAA) (for export
from Australia)
The Australian Wine &
Brandy Corporation is the authority that is responsible for all exporting
of wine from Australia. All wine exported from Australia, apart from
sample shipments of less than 100L, needs a Continuing Approval Number
(CAN) provided by the AWBC. This requires lodgment with them of
2 bottles of wine, an extra set of labels, and a completed Continuing
Approval Application (CAA).
After testing your wine, Vintessential
will complete the analysis section of your CAA and fax the form to you
for completion and onforwarding to the AWBC. We maintain a close
working relationship with the AWBC to ensure that the wine approval
process runs as smoothly as possible for our customers.
Japan Certificate of Analysis (for import into Japan)
After testing your wine, Vintessential
will fax you a copy of the Certificate and then mail the original
to you.
VI1 Certificate of
Analysis (for import into European Economic Community)
There are three VI1 Certificate
options depending upon the type of wine. This is because
different testing is required
for each type of wine. The options are:
Packaged wine (ie. Bottled
wine)
Botrytised wine
Bulk wine
After testing your wine, Vintessential
will fax you a copy of the Certificate, and then mail the original to
the AWBC.
Other Certificates
that may be requested include Sweden and Israel. If you are unsure of
what is required please ask for our assistance.
